About us
Create anime-style comics — without knowing how to draw.
Ypictur is a software project currently in development, designed to make anime-style comic creation accessible to everyone — even those who can't draw. Our goal is to remove the technical barriers that stop people from telling visual stories. We're building a tool that combines simplicity, creative freedom, and visual quality — without relying on AI-generated content. This isn’t just about design — it’s about giving control back to creators.

What Make us special
Our Software has no competition at the moment
There are many tools for artists — but none for storytellers who can’t draw.Ypictur isn’t just another illustration app or AI generator. It’s a creative platform built from the ground up to empower non-artists to produce anime-style comics with quality, control, and intention. No existing software offers what we do:

No Drawing required
Create characters and scenes visually, without needing art skills.

Built for creators
Designed for writers, storytellers, and anyone with a story to tell.

No AI, just control
You’re the creator. Ypictur is your tool — not a content generator.
our Vision
We're building a tool for storytellers who have ideas, not art degrees.
At Ypictur, we believe the webcomic market doesn’t belong exclusively to artists — it belongs to storytellers.
What truly drives success in this space isn’t perfect art, but powerful stories. The most beloved webcomics today weren’t built on technical skill alone, but on characters, emotion, and narrative vision.
Art helps — but story sells.
The problem? Until now, there’s been no tool that lets non-artists bring their ideas to life visually, with professional quality and creative control.
Ypictur exists to change that: to give authors the power to create compelling, anime-style comics without needing to draw — and without compromising their voice.
That's why our Software searches to:

Empower creators
Give tools to dreamers, writers, and storytellers — not just artists.
Make it intuitive
Comic creation should feel like building with LEGO, not coding.
Respect for creativity
Ypictur doesn't create content for you — it lets you build it yourself.
Investors
We are looking for investors interested in making this project a reality
Ypictur is an ambitious project — and one we can’t build alone.
To turn our roadmap into reality, we’re currently looking for aligned investors to help fund the development of our MVP and first public release. We believe this is more than software. It’s a tool that can reshape an entire creative industry — but to do that, we need the resources to move fast, build well, and scale smart. If you believe in the vision, we’d love to talk.

Software Description
Overview
Ypictur is a creative software designed to allow users to produce
manhwas, webtoons, and anime-style comics without the need for
drawing skills. Any user who masters the platform can create
professional-level visual works. The core mission is to democratize
visual storytelling by providing accessible yet powerful tools for
producing high-quality comics.
Interface and Core Structure
Similar to Clip Studio Paint, users begin in a main lobby with six key
modules, each representing a fundamental stage in the creation
process.
1. Character Creation
This module allows users to build custom characters through an
intuitive 3D modeling system, offering creative freedom similar to
VRoid, but with higher visual quality and greater flexibility, specifically
tailored to anime-style comics.
Characters can be deeply customized, including detailed outfit
design and size adjustments.
The system avoids common bugs like hair clipping through
clothing.
The character editor resembles game-style avatar creators but
with much more granular control.
Created characters can be organized into folders or collections
2. Clothing Design
This area allows users to create and edit clothing with the same logic
as the character module, while offering optional advanced tools
(including manual drawing) for experienced users.
Clothing will feature cloth-based rigging, allowing realistic
movement: swaying during motion, shirt openings, dynamic
removal effects, or collar pulls.
All clothing items are exportable and importable in the software’s
proprietary format.
Clothes can be sorted via folders or tagged for easy access.
3. Pose Creation
Here, users can position characters, clothing, and objects with a userfriendly
interface that solves many of the frustrations found in
traditional posing software.
Users can apply preset poses or reuse previously saved ones.
Poses work by drag-and-drop: dragging a pose onto a character
will apply it automatically.
Facial expressions are configured in this module as well.
Poses can be saved, organized with folders/tags, and
exported/imported in the platform’s native format.
4. Object Creation
This module lets users import 3D assets (in formats like .obj) and
apply internal textures using the software’s material system.
Imported objects initially appear as untextured models. Users
assign materials like wood, leaves, or metal.
A broad library of shader-compatible textures will be available.
Simple rigging functions will exist, e.g. sheathing a sword.
Objects can be organized and exported in the software’s format,
with tagging and folder support.
5. Integrated Shader System
Ypictur features a proprietary shader engine that automatically
converts all 3D elements (characters, clothing, objects) into 2D animestyle
illustrations.
All internal assets are compatible with this shader to ensure a
coherent visual style.
External materials are not supported, except for 3D model bases,
to preserve compatibility and stylistic integrity.
6. Comic Project Workspace
This is where the final product — the comic — is assembled. The
interface is designed for ease-of-use, relying on drag-and-drop logic
and clear navigation tabs for accessing characters, poses, objects,
speech bubbles, special effects, brushes, backgrounds, lighting tools,
and more.
Everything is designed to enable full visual creation without
drawing skills.
Projects can be exported in standard formats (PNG, JPEG, etc.) or
saved in a native layered format (similar to .PSD).
A project manager area allows users to view recent projects and
access saved works.
Marketplace & Economy
Ypictur will include a built-in asset store, inspired by
Clip Studio Paint’s marketplace:
Resources will be purchased using virtual currency, which can be
acquired with real money.
Users will be able to sell their creations and convert earnings into
cash, with a platform fee applied.
This internal economy will foster an active, creative user
community, and allow users with limited time or skills to access
high-quality assets on demand.
Platform Availability
The software will initially launch on Windows, with a Mac version
planned for release soon after.
About Ypictur
Ypictur is a creative software currently in development, designed to let anyone create anime-style comics — without ever needing to draw. The idea was born from a personal frustration: having powerful stories to tell, but no way to visualize them. Like millions of others, we grew up inspired by anime and webcomics — not because we wanted to be artists, but because we wanted to create worlds, characters, and narratives.
But for anyone who can’t draw, that desire hits a wall. Drawing takes years. Software is complex. Hardware is expensive. And for many, storytelling dreams get left behind.Ypictur exists to change that. Our goal is to give creators intuitive, expressive tools — 3D character design, pose control, anime-style shading — all without requiring artistic skill. We want to empower the kind of creator that today's tools ignore: the storyteller who cares more about emotion and narrative than linework and brushes.Ypictur doesn’t use AI to generate your story for you — it gives you the power to build it yourself. With our drag-and-drop comic workspace and anime-style rendering system, users will be able to create professional-looking visual stories with full creative control. This is just the beginning.
We envision a full ecosystem — with community assets, marketplace features, and style expansions — that allows creators to collaborate, sell resources, and grow together.Storytelling should be a matter of vision — not talent gatekeeping.
That’s what we’re building. And we’re just getting started.
